[Funky Stick Fight]

"Oh ballz...whoosh"

Quite humorous for a battle..the animation was smooth for a first time and the characters unique despite being sticks...my sadistic mind would have enjoyed more ridiculous amounts of blood over the little jokes..but the lack of the first and the prescence of the latter worked well in the characterization of the sticks...nice little victory dance at the end too...loved the random light blue stick...and his "whoosh" sound effect...a classic line..

Excellence..

..as has come to be expected from the brilliant minds behind the game..the music is definately well chosen and blended perfectly with the fast paced action...the art style and animation are perfect and I know Im not the only one already anxious for another game..Tips for medal addicts like myself:

~Facerape~ Get the chainsaw from the cabinet,
Have fun shredding baddies till they stop coming KEEP THE CHAINSAW Go through the door to the room where you are on top of a ledge
DONT JUMP DOWN instead jump up and hang from the pipe
When the big guy comes crawling through the door start shredding his face and keep it up till he dies, then keep going because youre a sicko and youll eventually get the medal

When you beat Tricky(the clown) and he starts crawling away, get rid of your weapon (use up all the ammo) then punch his mask off

Beat Tricky and when he starts crawling away just let him go

'kay so..technically I've done the whole divine powers achievement and didnt get my medal..and the "Pain don't hurt" achievement has popped up plenty of times at this point without showing up in my list..but I havent gotten any of the dumb glitches others whine about so I wont whine..the action is smooth and fast paced late into it..I used low quality but the animation and art is very good..as we've all come to expect of the series..the music is okay..sorta neautral soundin stuff..which is good since I turn it off and blare death metal anyways...all the new custom features are great..I like having a girl thing-thing kill stuff..all the weapons are great..with strengths and weaknesses..like how a glock is great but dual wielding becomes a real bitch becuase you give up accuracy...and the two grenade weapons pwn when together with a faster weapon..otherwise youll be stuck reloading most of the time and scrounging for ammo...the beretta is a good weapon made better when youve got two..the lever shotgun..not so much...you can shoot faster but the twirling throws off aiming and you miss out on easy headshots...the M1187 is great for headshots to anyone trying for the cranial eviscicrator...if you like the tommy gun for its speed..good for you but Id definately trade up for a tabor..to conserve ammo since the game gets harder the longer you are alive..for the trickier weapons just find good timing and youll be fine...ex: the lazer is best if you keep it for late in when you can kill 3 or 4 in two shots..the acid bombs work best if you corner yourself since enemies will keep running through the acid and dying before reaching you..trick is to have lots of ammo stocked..thus..wait till late in the game..the arrow gun is basically the more annoying weapon becuase it takes alot of shots to kill..but keep runnin and gunnin and youll win..eventually..or you could match reload times and do 2 shot kills with the revolver..hint hint...and my favorite weapon..the lead pipe...forget executions.charge a bad guy or group of enemies and start cracking them in the head..kill them dead then back off and search for your next victim..as for artifact nineteen..its..ookay...recharging is a bitch though so save it for late in when you can multikill..it costs the same to kill 4 guys as it does one..nuff said...ever notice you never fight against girl thing-things..whats up with that?
All & all a truly great game..with a highly anticipated sequel in the works with any luck and the bar set way up there for any competition..who am I kidding..there isnt any competition..and if there were..thats what god made lead pipes for..

Fun

..though Im probably not the first or last to mention it..a pause feature wouldve been helpful..the levels get noticably longer and your hand really does cramp up..I stopped on Lv15..Id like to keep my hand thank you..The concept was straightforward and amusing despite the fact that you are making a deadly virus..you really have fun anyway....

Loved...

In my opinion the sorta quiet intro works well with that bass..Im blastin this in my headphones & it sounds great..the outro with the piano transitioning to guitar...a welcome suprise to a decent rave beat..good driving music..wish it was a longer song though..but thats because Im more into techno & such..

Well...

..In my opinion..The Jazzy bits in the intro and outro were actually pretty nice..Ive never heard of the game really..but I think this would be good in an older game..seems kind of slow for a dance song though..Id call it more ambient than anything..

Interesting...

In my opinion..the transition at around 0:30 was very abrupt..& afterwards it seems to be building up to something that would be fun to dance to..obviously its quite short..so the buildup is also rudely chopped..sounds like the song ends before it ever begins..so overall its a decent start that could be expanded into something good..

..the art style is suitably whimsical and simple without being too dumb looking..reminds me of the misadventures of flapjack..& it depicts the all engulfing effect of the sound of music in such a cheerful manner...nicely done

Id rate higher if I could..it really is such an epic piece...the character design is spectacular on this as well as your other work..The backstory only further emphasizing the attention to detail and well thought out composition..the characters balance well with the background as well as with eachother..they definately look like they're ready to hunt something down together..and I simply loved the whole bit about his extra pair of goggles..
